On a terrible evening weather wise, an entertaining evening of Hockey took place at the Bebington Oval. The four houses of Barber, Dodds, Hodgson and Lever were well represented and the four goalkeepers of David Johnstone, Joe Burchill, Jamie Baxter and Alex Smith all got kitted up in the rain. The matches started with two matches taking place on half of a pitch.
Barber 1 v 2 Dodds
Evans Jack, Elias James (2)
Hodgson 0 v 0 Lever
A good start to the matches with plenty of chances in both games and good goalkeeping. These boys have massively improved!!
Barber 0 v 3 Lever
Watkins Luke, Tidy Mark, Hughes Rob.
Hodgson 2 v 1 Dodds
Spink Andy (2) Dutton Max
Possibly game of the night was the Hodgson v Dodds game with good attacking play from both sideds and good attacks from Spink and Bush especially for Dodds. Well Done!

Lever 1 v 0 Dodds

All these results meant that on goal differance Lever were the winners from Hodgson both teams winning 2 and drawing against each other. Dodds were 3rd and Barber 4th. A special note to goalscorers Andy Spink (4) and Jack Evans (3). Well Done boys.
